The Qualified Certificate for Electronic Invoicing offer a high level of confidence and are used for digital signatures in documents and e-mail, encryption and access control, unequivocally assuring the identity of the owning entity.

Additional Notes:
1. Integration required between the certificate issued and the ERP software in use (API and integration manual available at no additional cost).
2. In case there is an expiration date present in any document of delegation of powers (eg: power of attorney, minutes of installation, etc.), the certificate will be issued with the said expiration date.
3. The Qualified Digital Certificate will be issued for three years and includes:
- 1st annuity of the Qualified Digital Certificate;4. Subsequent annuities (optional) will have the same value and include the offer of equal subscription packs.
- Corresponding signature pack offer, valid until the certificate expires / revokes;
- Cloud Certificate (HSM) - Stored at DigitalSign
5. You will be notified of the data for payment of the respective annuities with about 30 days in advance.
6. Non-payment of annuities results in automatic revocation of the certificate.

BuyThe following documentation must be sent by post or delivered by hand, in its original version:
- Application for Digital Certificate Issuance duly signed and notarized; (this document will be provided via email when finalizing the order ordering)
- Photocopies of identification documents (e.g. ID Card) of the members of the Corporate Bodies identified in the Application for Digital Certificate Issuance Field 2 and that signed the power of attorney (if applicable);

- The documents that have expiration date must be valid at the time of the documentation validation;
- In case there is an expiration date present in any delegation of powers document (eg: power of attorney, minutes of installation, etc.), the certificate will be issued with the said expiration date;
- The signatures contained in the documents shall be in accordance with the presented identification documents;
- The e-mail address to be given must be valid and be consulted regularly (email to which the certificate activation codes will be sent);
- In the cases of disagreement, the data should be updated before the certificate purchase;
- The documentation will be checked within a maximum of two (2) business days after receipt and payment confirmation;
- As soon as the application is approved, your digital certificate will be sent to you via postal mail or equivalent (to the identified address).
After receiving your Qualified Digital Certificate
- Please complete and sign the Term of Reception which will be sent together with your Qualified Digital Certificate;
- Send by fax (No. 253 560 639) or by email (suporte@digitalsign.pt) the completed Term of Reception, correctly completed and signed by Representative / Attorney;
- DigitalSign will send you the activation codes (PIN and PUK) through secure e-mail;
- Follow the instructions in the aforementioned message to complete the installation process of your new Qualified Digital Certificate.
HSM Pack (Cloud)
Includes:
- Remote storage in cryptographic equipment (HSM).
Note: In the PDF Sign & Seal application, signing documents at the same time is not possible for digital certificates in CLOUD, as these are authenticated authentication for each use / signature.
- VirtualCSP - application to use the certificate in Microsoft Office (version 2013 or higher), Adobe, Pdf Sign&Seal(version 6.6.0) applications and others. (Requirements: Windows 8.1 or higher in 64bits Version)Notes:

- PDF Sign & Seal is an application that allows you to create and digitally sign documents in PDF format. See the PDF Sign & Seal requirements here.
- The digital certificate is generated and stored in HSM (Hardware Security Module), therefore, it can not be exported or reproduced in another device after being issued;
- The use of your certificate (for each signature) requires 2 (two) authentication factors: the password you set at the time of purchase and a random code sent by SMS to the confirmed mobile phone number during the online validation;
- There are no password recovery mechanisms for security reasons. You can change your password as long as you know your current password. If you lose your password, the certificate is lost and can not be recovered.
