The new remote identity validation process for issuing Qualified Digital Certificates. Easy to use and intuitive:
ID CHECK!
ID Check is a new application for remote identity validation, which offers an innovative technological approach.
The IDcheck application uses technology to perform validation asynchronously. During the process, data related to the identification document, proof of life (liveness detection) is collected for facial biometric comparison.
This approach allows automatic data collection, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, without the need for prior scheduling with an operator.
Although it is automated, the data collected will later be validated by a human operator for a final approval, ensuring that the entire process and documentation are legible and compliant, in accordance with current regulations. After completing successfully this identity validation, it is issued the digital certificate.
How does id Check?
1.
Validation
Enter the exclusive “DS CODE” provided via email and/or sms to start the identity validation.
Then the validation of your identification document begins.
2.
ID Photo Capture
Collection of Photos of the Identification Document
In this step, it’s required to capture a photo the identification document (front and back), by placing it within the frame displayed on the screen. In the case of the passport, it will only require the capture of a photo of the main page.
3.
Selfie
User Selfie Collection
In this step, a selfie will be automatically captured. At the end, it’s possible to check the captured photo and repeat if necessary.
4.
Liveness
Proof of Life Collection
A short continuous video will be recorded on the front camera, in which it is required to say the name and surname out loud, and then show the front and back of the identity card. In the case of the passport, only the main page must be shown.
5.
Security Issues
At this stage, two random personal questions will be asked by our virtual agent. If the answer recorded was not clear, it’s possible to repeat as well.
6.
The End
By clicking continue, it finalizes the data collection process, which will be then sent for final validation by DigitalSign. In case of rejection, a notification email will be sent, containing the rejection motive and instructions for repeating the process successfully!
